Really, 253 mph blows my mind, but I looked up the top speed for an NHRA Top Fuel Dragster, and that's 336.15 mph - in just a quarter mile. (NHRA top time for the quarter mile is 4.428 seconds). Are we all going crazy or what?

Hehe in America, what's the use of that speed? You'll get stopped by cops, or stuck in traffic, or cops couldn't get to you at first, and then you get stuck in traffic, then get caught anyway.

i dont know if any 1 has poasted this but the Bugatti Veyron can only maintain its top speed for a max of 15min's. after that 15min's, the tires start to melt... and when that happens, its a bit of a catastrophic conclusion ;p

also if it somehow stys on top speed for 20mi's, then it would have used all its fule lol... so its kinda s**t if it is being used inin a circut race... but meh...

what if there was this little pebble, half the size of a palm, that one of the tires happen to trip over when the car was at its top speed?

anyway, i can go faster with a truck in reverse.

But whats the point of all that speed if you need a test track in Germany to use it? Waate of money,Waste of fuel.He did not mention that car would do about 2gallons per mile.Still i would not mind a spin round the M25 looking for boy racers.
