i think it was more meant to be used in cooking, not for smoking. look it up on the japanese cook book. you got the name right, but it too bad that the idea of smoking it made it illegal like poppy flowers.

of course i have cooked with it cakes scones lasagna the lot just never japanese and actually ingesting it is more likely to cause what we term a whitey cos the body cant usually handle such a big hit so quickly....smoking it gives a gradual high but each to thier own

nice1 mate and a good tip i actually pruned these beasts rather than tipped still didnt slow then down.i am wary of doing this now since i discovered u do that to the chronic species and you blown it cos thats were the main growth is in the main bud and its not the only variety that does that. thanks again tho mate

have you tried super cropping? its may be too far along for this batch look into it Im not expert but next time it would be quite effective as it helps the plants grow outwardly rather than up...I personally have gotten a much better yield using this technique especially good for indoors

but i must have overheard someone once say...lower the temperature in your room, makes em grow with less stem. Try hormones too, they can lower the height. Last but not least ensure ur light height is right (bout 3 feet) or they tend to strech up to it. Best of luck
