Christmas Lights as a visualization, what do you think?
Another musican guy in California is doing this for charity purposes. We went by the house to see it in person. The effect is far better in person. He had about 7 songs lasting about 30 minutes

Okay, you guys need to get out more!!!! This CD is awsome and the person who created this display is pure genius(the sequencing is amazing)! I live by this house, and I am proud to say that too!!! No he did not create the music.
~(Trans-Siberian Orchestra)~ Anyways, great job, and to anyone that hasn't bought a TSO Cd, or have not seen one of their concerts, you HAVE to...you will get the full blown TSO experience.(This is just a introduction to the wonderful world of TSO!!!!) ^_^
I love this video, and we don't even celebrate X-mas. What's the name of this song? It's great!

By yougottobekidding 1135872101 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is the so awesome! We played it for our families at Christmas time....they really got a big kick out of this video..somebody should help this person pay for their Electric bill...thank you for such a neat experience
By yougottobekinding 1135871758 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThat is one of the most awesome things I've seen in my life !!!!!!!!!!
By KnightH 1135870033 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethis is actually a very simple light show just a unique idea of where to put it, I do FX light and sound for raves. if you want to do it yourself theres a bunch of companies that make the equipment, lightronics, Strand, Martin, AMDJ to name a few, all you need to get is the controller board or software (preferably dmx512 compatable), 5 to 10 4ch dimmer packs, and the cables, a martin light jocky system makes it very easy since it has a show creator simulator.
By cysco 1135746735 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI dont get it. :(
By partyblock7 1192490417 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removehighly recommend the CD's. Incidently, I saw this house on a LITE commercial. Hope they were properly reimbursed, or at least enough to pay their electric bill.
By GoMomx4 1135724337 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis an excellent display of talent as well as a fabulous treat for anyone close enough to go and view what this individual has taken time to set up for people to enjoy. I give you ***** and kudo's to you.

The Wizards of Winter is going around our school email! and every1 thinks its the best eva
By yowhatup 1135716828 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSuch creativity - not just the lighting but the music!
By suz46 1135684057 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveTruly beyond amazing; what a display with a great song to make it come to life.
This should start a trend.....
Please, do not say this fantastic display fills you with the CHRISTmas spirit; otherwise the ACLU may insist lights not be displayed.
By profpv 1135622551 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWe went there after Christmas dinner in Cincy. Very disappointed we did not get to see this awesome display in person. He could not play it because of all the scrooges with unlit houses in the neighborhood. He's a genius! Hope he comes up with a grander one next year. Bah humbug to the neighbors!
By lizard1226 1135611646 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveJust saw the TSO in Pittsburgh last week--awesome show. Kudos to the family that has this display--very, very cool. Next year they need to include TSO's song "First Snow" and put some snow guns in the yard to really nail it. AWESOME JOB !!!
By musicman 1135609183 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveLOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT !. This clip was shown on TV during the Redskins game on Christmas Eve

Hi: Would you be kind enough to email me the music for Wizarrds of Winter?
Thanks PeterG
I'm betting he used a Allen-Bradley SLC500 PLC myself. And a boat-load of beer programming it!
By unkljim 1135556510 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis can be accomplished with a SLC 503 and 4, 16 point AC output cards utilizing a sequencer file timed to the music. The code is easy and would take about 15 minutes to write then trying to enter the sequencer data is going to take a few hours. The timer should be set for one-tenth second time base.
You have to either use a fast switching relay card or high current AC output relays down stream. Watch the load calcs for total current draw.
what code to music?

By D.R.Hawn 1136663670 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis can be accomplished with an Allen Bradley SLC 503, 4 sixteen point output cards and fast acting relays. Watch the current loads however. The code will take about 15 minutes to write but then you will need a few hours and a lot of alcohol to create the sequencer binary file. The time base for the timer should be set to one-tenth of a second.
By patwarton 1135718245 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethis is like amazing i even saw a commercial for miller light beer with this house going crazy! that must be great for advertisment! its like REALLY enjoying the lights!

By sillydidit 1135529080 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveJust seeing that video brightens my day and I love the music. I will buy the CD whenever I find it. That guy is a genius!
By lizlyle 1135495115 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHeh, just saw this as part of a Miller Lite commercial on TV. Looks like his efforts paid off :D
By mrbond 1135482784 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThey must have spent 10thousand dollars on that or somethin.
Cuz thats a lot of lites.
A family in Canada has been doing it for 5 years. Check out Lindsay lights.com (no space after lindsay). They have details about what it takes to put on a display like this, the work involved, power requirements, tech details, etc.
By tad 1135475741 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is the best christmas present i have received.
By dillpickle 1135474030 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is so much like the concert. If anyone gets the chance to see TSO live. Do so. "Wizards in Winter" is their opening song. You can buy the CD just about anywhere. I'm surprised that the news magazine channels have not done a feature story about TSO. These guys rule. I'm very impressed with the light display. I myself put up between 15,000 and 30,000 every year.
By rgage 1135465054 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethis one really rules!
By hairpie 1135457436 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeplease i need this as my screensaver, how would i do it? i love the trans siberian orchestra!!!

By eibhis 1135294704 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI just seen this clip in a new Miller Light commercial. Pretty cool to get that recognition.
By 13thstage 1135285846 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis looks like a scene from Close Encounters. Very interesting, but a little nauseating. It's the Griswold's house on speed!
By NOLA 1135275466 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWOW TAHT IS F***ING AWESOME YOU ROCK!
By StephK703 1135275458 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI got this in an email..and I just couldn't sit still..this man is just amazing...
This guy has WAY!!! too many free time...anyway this is real because it was on the new.... I just feel very sorry for the people taht live near them!how do they sleep?
By Moey 1135230195 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveQuite well, now, since he voluntarily shut down the display due to excessive traffic (emergency vehicles responding to a minor traffic accident couldn't get through). He always said that he would cooperate with the Warren County sheriff if things got problematic. Since it was broadcast over a low power FM channel. noise from the display's music really wasn't a problem unless someone in their car really cranked it up. I'm trying to catch the display on the new Miller Lite commercial on ESPN this morning. Funny, I do the same thing during the Super Bowl, ignore the show and only watch for the advertising!
By Wig 1135272622 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI'm from Alaska, the 'eternally' Christmasy state (in that we never get any snow kind of way) and we sit around the dorms and watch this. Not kidding. Everyone wishes people here would do it. I mean, it's dark ALL the time, it'd be fantastic!
By asaka 1135229399 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveMiller Lite made a commercial out of this house! Bud Light had nothing to do with this house. Everybody thinks bud light made the commercial but it was MILLER LITE who made it! Get it right!!!
By quikzach 1135216723 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWho cares what company did it. They are all beer companies. Making a big deal out of nothing.
By X-Navy-Dude 1167782985 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSo awesome, it amazes me every time i watch it! (and that is about 5 now!)
By basicfan3 1135210070 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI am in the theater lighting business. This video has quickly made the rounds and a lot of us applaud him for his artistic programming. If you want to know how he did this, look up the snopes.com website. It'll tell you what's going on "behind the curtain".
By cookwanted 1135207533 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethis is a little more than theater, try concert lighting design and yes there is a difference
By bobisdead 1135560820 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveTheater lighting and concert lighting are directly related. Same tools, concepts and goals. Over 25 years I've lit operas, plays, musicals, concerts, fashion shows, memorial services, music videos. Spectacle is spectacle, whether it's Tosca or the Rolling Stones 2005 tour.
By cookwanted 1135706875 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removehe's obviously so fucking brilliant. this is the best thing i've seen since ... yeah.
By happilymortal 1135144801 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei love it ,it must took along time to do it ,just wish could make the music to christmas corrols
By dustbuster 1135143807 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveApparently (although the lights have been shut down indefinitely due to a small traffic incident) this awesome guy has this set to 2 other songs, Charlie Brown Christmas and Jingle Bells (very fast edition of the song though)
By jenolver 1135298491 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveMy kids keep asking to hear this music and see the video...thanks. I cannot believe this is a bud commercial ..the best one ever!
By Architectlink 1135138901 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is a MILLER LITE commercial not another bud light commercial!
By quikzach 1135216471 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveA great job indeed, shows your passion, keep it up, especially to kill the jealous! With regards and happy holiday wishes.
By freesoul313 1135128301 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is the best light display I have ever seen, outside Las Vegas! This guy is a genius! Unbelievable!!
By Joel5000 1135119965 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThere is a way to tell that this is real.
Watch to the immediate left of the house through the entire video; there is a radio tower in the background and you can see the light flashing on it. It is flashing at regular intervals... not pasted there like some put-together still-motion movie. This is the real deal.
Another reason why I'm positive that this is real is that my aunt lives near this guy. She's seen it with her own eyes; that's how we first found out about it. She saw it first-person, found this, and emailed it to us then called us later about it.
THIS VIDEO IS LEGIT. IT IS ENTIRELY REAL. Yes, that is right, all of you who are too stubborn to accept that.
It was amazing. they are showing it in music class at my childrens school. Wileman Ele. Delavan WI. So i haved to take a look for myself. Truly a work of talent. Thanks for making me smile and laugh. Now my kids are asking me to do that. HAHAHAHA.
By afab25 1135118413 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveGreat PUN at the end...enjoy the "lites".
By puddlejumper 1135117918 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThe music is alive! It gets into my blood... and the video enhances the feeling. It's a holiday treat for the audio and visual senses. It rocks me to the point that I can't get the song out of my head, and I can't stop watching the video. As a music lover, it is an emotional experience!!
By dynabratt 1135111873 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei pissed myself when i saw this
By SHITTYDAABHDUHK 1135104575 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removethis house is famous!!modern news in germany show this house!
Merry Christmas
Remarkable! If this appeals to people so greatly that it results in vehicular congestion and the voluntary termination of this marvelously novel tribute to the spirit of Christmas, perhaps the city (or a church) of Mason would consider an arrangement whereby Mr. Williams could fashion a seasonal display on a location that would handle appreciative passersby and raise public goodwill for the Mason community? Maybe Mitsubishi Electric's national headquarters located in Mason would contribute funds to accomplish the project. Think of the publiciity accompanying positive international television and internet broadcasting! Again, KUDOS to Carson Williams for lifting my spirits with his creation!
By b4 1135063288 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removei was watching tv today (Dec 19, 05) like i do a lot of times and this was on a Bud lite commercial! i've seen it on this site before i saw it on television and i was like dude, that is awsome that bud lite must have paid them to have a little clip of thier light show in the commercial... it was great cause the slogan was, enjoy the lites, bud lite er somthing like that... i don't drink (i'm under age) but i still thought it was funny and Cool!
By wolfcow 1135049510 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is a MILLER LITE commercial bud light had nothing to do with it! Miller Brewing Company needs credit not stupid bud light!!!
