    • I agree with enemy of fun

Damn easy with the benefit of hindsight to claim you would be smart and run away. Until the 2004 tsunami I wouldn't have known what one looked like. I knew they happened but probably would have stood around as a noob going "wow that's really wierd.."

    • Human Nature

Any one of us would have stood there watching. You watched the video didn't you? Nobody knew what it was. The first wave that hit was interesting that's why they were laughing but the second one that came over the wall scared the S**t out of them.

There have not been any large tsunami's in hundreds of years so no one actually knew what one looked like. I bet those same people seeing it for a second time would have run screaming right away.

yeh coz who in our lifetime has seen one of these things.so the water came up the beach further than usual. woulve been funny to see a few people get knocked over. but who wouldve been thinking that about 3 hundred thousand people were gonna get wiped out!!?

  • recognise a tsunami

i heard when a tsunami happens, the sea level drops a lot as if it was being sucked backwards (to cover up the free space from the earthquake) and then a massive wave comes. Only very talented people can spot one.

    • You must have really good new years eve ...

as you must start them 5 days early.
Here's a table to help you out.
      25th Dec = Christmas day
      26th Dec = Boxing day
31st Dec = New years eve
1st Jan = New years day
If you work of chinese calander then new year starts on 18th of Feb for 2007, 7th of Feb for 2008.
If you are not christian then you don't need to worry about 25th or 26th of Dec either.

      Boxing Day...scary stuff

  • I would have

stood there and filmed. I also would have freaked out knowing that the sea level kept on rising and coming on shore so fast. No one knew there had been an earthquake, so why not stand around and check the surf? (Until it kicked your fuckin ass and you became a floating dummy)
