A slide show of photos I took during the June 28 06 flooding. The susquehanna river crested 25' over flood stage. The water was so high and fast whole houses were floating down the river hitting the bridges.

      the morning of the 28th we were woken up at 6am by banging on the door, when we answered the door we were told to leave, the only thing we had time to grab was about 80 lbs of photo albums and that cat I use for my photo on here , the only things of "real" value.. that water was so close to going over the levee, it was scary. I am very thankfull to volenteer workers of Rochester Gas & Electric for getting us restored here in Binghamton
