July of each year the 911th Air Force base in Moon, PA has an air show called "Wings Over Pittsburgh". Living so close to the base, the Blue Angels were in Pittsburgh and flew 100 feet right over our backyard; giving us the best seat for the show! My favorite shot is the neighbor sitting in his lawn tractor as they buzz over his head. Enjoy!

  You should live here in El Centro where they do their winter training. All of their support pukes drive cars that say "The Official Car of the Blue Angels"

if they were going any faster peoples windows would have blown out in the speed and direction of which they were going. this could of killed!

Great video...
you are so lucky to have them right over your house. One observation though. When you say the "Leader" breaks off and flies away from the group, it's actually the "Lead Solo." The "Leader" is the Number 1 plane, called "Boss" who leads the various formations (you see him as the first plane in the 4 plane diamond for instance). He gives all the commands and all the aircraft follow him. There are 6 aircraft that perform. Numbers 1-4 are formation aircraft and 5 and 6 are solos. Anyway, just a little info for you. Once again, you are lucky to see that each year.
