This Dodge diesel trucks puts out 740hp, and she can move.
The super stock pulling tractors are running 4 turbos stacked in 3 stages. Most are running at over 300psi of boost at over 3000 horsepower. Not bad for an inline 6 cylinder.

By GTrucker 1159407015 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI have a Chevy diesel, duramax, that I had a twin turbo setup installed on, with an edge programmer, piggy backed with Jet tech chip, they estimate it to be around 700hp, well over 1000 ft/lbs of torque. On my second Trans though!!!!! The number of turbos has little to do with the peak power, you can still only push soo much air into the engine, be it 1 huge turbo, or 8 little ones! (in theory), the advantage to twins s the reduced 'turbo lag', that is VERY noticable in the single, biggazz turbo setups!!!!! Diesel fun, with 38" mud tyres on the rig, I can still spank mustangs and cameros all day long!!!!!!!!!

By honda boy 1145934065 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt only takes two turbos to do that. The boost pressure is just increadibly high, some as high as 100lbs of boost. But the hp number isn't uncommon for a diesel. It is high but I have seen some rigs that push 1000 hp and 3400 ft-lbs of torque.
