  • Try doing chinups on a straight bar.

He is doing chinups on a gymnastic bar. It flexes a little, so it gives you that little bounce. I normally do 70 chinups but with the gymnasitic bar I was going forever. My friends were wondering when I would stop. I was on there for 15 minutes and was not tired.

  • Here's the scoop on the video.

I'm looking into fixing the loading problem.

Yes he's pulling. I've got the meta data updated. The person who originally posted the video didn't have rights. That is all squared away now. The guy in the vid weighs 135, but can do one arm pull ups with 30 lbs, and we're gunning for 50 lbs.

  • Its not that amazing

i can do 12 reps with one hand, full extension and complete pull up, i weigh 157 pounds at 5' 10'', and lift weights 3 times a week, its not hard, as lond as you are lighter and have significant muscle mass for your body type, someone 6 foot at 220 pounds even with a lean muscle mass would have a very hard time doing it, the person in the video looks to me to be around 5' 8''- 5' 10'' and is no more than 150 pounds, and pretty lean in muscle, its not rocket science
