2007 New Generation XK-2 Tank, S.KOREA

It's true, the modern day tank is quickly becoming obsolete, hence the U.S. Armies move to popularize the Stryker so much. They hope to eventually replace all vehicles with just the Stryker chasis so that it is not only cheaper and easier to maintain, but so that the Army retains it's mobility and lethality.

What's the point of having a 11 million dollar tank when it can be blown sky high with a single 40k rocket? Just taking the MUCH cheaper Stryker chassis and sticking a 105mm cannon on it (check out the Stryker MGS, they already made it) makes for a much more effective modern day approach seeing as how tank armor has been made relatively obsolete. Speed is the best defense in modern warfare.

What you're trying to say is REACTIVE armor, nobody wants to sit inside a tank with radioactive armor. Plus that profile control as they called it would most likely allow it to fire sideways even while moving full speed, which most tanks can't do for balance and control reasons.

Dude thats a good tank yes resembles the Abrams. I am writing in from India we will have 1200 T-90 within the next 10 yrs, as for the Black Eagle no one is prepared to pay for completing it though you kinda lost the plot for making tanks once the west got on with the Abrams and Leclercs. Though russian anti-tank weapons are lesser known and very leathal. Some day will put up a video of the India MBT a 58ton monster almost ready for induction

T90 to M1a2 ...is a long way

are basically the same. every tank has the same armor...british one...basically the same gun...a german one...the same aiming system. All the tanks are just the same. The US just has the most (waste of money in my opinion). The US has 8000 M1A1 and i dont know how many M1A2s. But over 1500 of those tanks were either destroyed or damaged in Iraq. A war like that just costs too much money. The S.Korean tank is just as good as the Russian T90, the German Leopard 2A6, the French Leclerc, the American M1A1 and M1A2, the British Challenger and the Israeli Merkava 4. ALL THE TANKS ARE BASICALLY COPIES OF CEACH OTHER.
