They look the same, but the actual angle of the triangles is different, and thus when you move them, the total area is not proporionate, and thus more room is left available. If you took the true triangle that split the diagram in half, you would not be able to cut it at 8 blocks from the left and get it to align with the top corner of a block. It would have a slightly different shape.

from the first comment u got busted didnt you. when u change the arrangement u say that u simply change the arrangements but u didnt u cheated u gave the wrong information. thats what it is. BUSTED
