Making A Chess Board The Quick&Easy Way

Good video easy way to do it!

I have made my chess board the "hard" way. To me its not hard at all. I take my table saw set up the fence to 2" or so. take my 1/4" ply wood pannels of different types run it through get perfect 2x2" squares. after that i lay it out Chess board style 8 up 8 across clean up edges. then put them together face up get masking tape together. do that for the whole 64 squares. Put glue on the back and another side of glue on my bottom piece of 1/4" ply. tape up the edges so its square with panel another junk piece on top with some weight to hold it down for over night in more just take of tape and finish up the edge and finish it. my way is perfect every time i do it.

Your way is the faster and easier method but who said there was one correct way to do something. You just got to work with what you have laying around the shop at the time of i want to make a chess board!
