  he solved the bottom 3 faces that you cant see until he flips it. so if he showed you the whole cube at the end the other 3 faces would have been unsolved, the same as they appeared before he flips the cube. he must have figured out a special sticker arrangement for this to work (there are too many orange faces, etc) so the cube only works for this trick and cant be completely solved. a cool trick
