Holes in cards.....
are because they are casino issued cards that you can buy in the gift shops. They punch holes so you can't use them again at any of the tables.

  sounds like you've been to a casino or two. sometimes the casinos will give them for free just to get rid of them.

- I work at a casino.
  They give the cards to some of the players for free. (For example, at Binion's, if you get a suited blackjack, you get a deck of cards.) The rest, they sell in the gift shop for a buck each.

  I dont know if casino would just give them away... it is much easier to make holes and throw them in a trash... Of course if You work in a casino, You could ask manager for some decks to train at home, or You could look in a trash by back door, but I don't think You could get them if You don't work in a casino ar You don't know someone who does.
