the two end compartments
on the top have short pencil segments that slide down at the same time the whole pencil gets hidden in the bottom row of compartments. Nice visual trick if you do it quickly.

the trick
is dont move the box so much so that people can hear the pieces inside it..cuz if you do its very easy to understand..if the box can be opened put some kinda sound muffler on the ends so when you do move it around it dont give the secret away... ;) cool though
