Obviously, the point of the ad is to compare the long lasting effects of the product with the 1min of the guy. (and that would have been how the advertising guys would have presented the idea to the advertising comittee)
But did you ever consider that maybe the same ad guys might have decided to add the am/pm thing (with the help of some props ppl) as a minor detail that most ppl would over look, so as to not totally discredit men?
Given that someone has already managed to add the "the b**** is wide open" thing, couldn't they also have 'planted' the am/pm detail as well?
That's just my opinion. Funny video either way
P.S. It's kinda like the joke where a woman gets 3 wishes, and her husband will get 10x what she gets. So she wishes for a mild heart attack. The joke is meant to make women feel smart. (In the same way this ad discredits men). But then at the end it says the husband got an even milder heart attack! (Sorta like how the clock changes from pm to am, redeeming the guy in the eyes of the male viewers)

The one minute change is what makes the commercial funny! Do you actually think that the company would make a crucial detail such as the one you suggest so hard to make out that you had to look at the small, illegible corner of the clock to see that it changes 12 hrs all in a short commercial that viewers probably only see once whereas you guys probably reviewed to make your stupid judgement??? Give me a break. Only one minute changed and that's what makes the clip funny and besides why don't you have a look at the name, "Quick Change Hottie". The theme of this clip is "Quick".

In my opinion the point of the commercial was that a woman can change and get ready fast with the product. There was no clock shown in the beginning so we do not know how long she took. From the scenes of the guy jumping around the couch and changing positions I got the idea that it took her several minutes, at least. That's a common trick to give a viewer the feeling of time elapsing: show the person sitting in one position, standing somewhere, sitting again, standing somewhere else, laying... Different body language in each situation to show different moods which would naturally take time to change...
The guy lasting only a single minute was simply humor; we watch the commercial seeing the girl getting ready as quickly as she can, for what? A minute? Compare her face to his afterwards when he is watching TV. He's thrilled, she looks let down. Was there a point with the one minute duration? Yeah, to make us laugh!

The indicator on the right on the clock does clearly change even though it is only 8pm. Furthermore, at the end of the commercial the voice over says "a feeling that lasts." If it lasted a long time it would only make sense that a long time elapsed.
Now I want to contact the company to ask them LOL.
