  • All possibilities

    Ok i was sad enough, though i did it by working out each of the routes each number would take:

    1) -> 3 -> 8 -> 1 -> 6
    2) -> 3 -> 8 -> 1 -> 6
    3) -> 5 -> 9 -> 1 -> 6
    4) -> 4 -> 8 -> 1 -> 6
    5) -> 4 -> 8 -> 1 -> 6
    6) -> 3 -> 8 -> 1 -> 6
    7) -> 5 -> 9 -> 1 -> 6
    8) -> 5 -> 9 -> 1 -> 6
    9) -> 4 -> 8 -> 1 -> 6
    10) -> 3 -> 8 -> 1 -> 6
    11) -> 6 -> 9 -> 1 -> 6
    12) -> 6 -> 9 -> 1 -> 6

    As you can see by only stage 2, he knows youre on 8 or 9, and on stage 3 everyone ends up on 1 (meaning stage 4 you move to 6 for sure).

  • It just works

    It's not about him using 12 as an example (i started on 10 deliberately).

    This trick is designed to just work. If anyone could be bothered (or sad enough) to work out the algebra for this, it would prove that for any number you start on, you will always end on 6 (as he will always remove those numbers that he removed).

    It's a set sequence that just requires perfomance skills, nothing else.

  • That's so incredibly flawed

    He shouldn't have used 12 as one of his initial examples. 12 was the first number that came to my mind... I spelled it out and got to six. Then you spell out six and get to nine. Finally, after he removes the first set of numbers, you get to 3. He then says "I know you're not on number 3" and removes it.

    • i dont think you can spell

      if u pick 12 you go to 6, then you spell 6 and get to 9, then you spell 9 (4 letters so 10, 11, 12, 1) and get to 1. That means u are now on 1 . then he removes some numbers and you get to 6 anyway, NOT 3

      learn to count
