    Looks like the two are geared for different things, takeoff on the cobra is better, top end in the supra is awesome.

  • Supras kill Mustangs on a regular basis....

    I met a dude last weekend that has a Supra pushing over 1100 horses at the back tires. He uses the 1JZ instead of the 2JZ. Not much diff, just a flatter power band. I just thought my S13 was fast at 500 horses with a VG30......... I know better now!
    He drives it daily with the boost cut down so it 'only' pushes about 500 or so. Not cheap but soooo much fun!!

    Obviously the supra is faster. The cobra is not stock because they govern out out at 135mph(my bud has one) This cobra has exuast,intake,chip and basic bolt-ons. And the superchargers on all cobras sound like that, they have a very unique pulley and drive system. That cobra was doing 160mph when the supra pulled on him so both cars a deadly fast. The supra probally about 8oohp but they can be built to handle over 1000hp! Props to both cars!

    I like how these 2 race just straight up roll in love it.....Mustangs are good ole classic muscle but where i live there are just 2 many damn cocky people who ride around and act like a dick in them so i am over excited that the supra F**ing owned it and possibly shut up some mustang owners out there by far love the race and both cars but supra's own this!!!

    Cobra doesn't sound very modded, compared to the Supra. The Cobra driver did some sloppy shifting also or could be SC belt slippage or clutch slippage. I wonder if he had his traction control off. From a Dig the Cobra would problaby do a little better. Those turbos are awesome on top end. Dollar for dollar mods I would bet on the Cobra, but obviously the Supra has a lot more invested.
