when a cat move its tail fast means its angry and may hurt you... i think they took off its nails but there is still a risk of nasty bite

Typical cat behaviour ..
If a cat intends to scratch, it will lash out with one paw - claws extended. However, when attempting to ward off unwelcome attention, they will pound the subject with claws retracted. Anyone who has a cat will have observed this.

This is how kids learn. I have four cats and I babysit in my home, I have seen them do this at first, but then I also see them snuggle up to kids once they get used to them. They have to learn how to play together.

- Cats can retract their claws ...
  Ask any vetinary surgeon. Cats can choose to extend or retract their claws. They do not automatically scratch when pawing or pounding.

Now the kid will learn that cats don't like to be bothered. Imagine if the cat had claws... then there would be a nationwide action to rid the world of cats. Sheesh, some people have no idea how evil they really are.
