    i forgot where i got it from but the kid ended up getting away but the show wanted to show that no matter how fast ur car is you cant get away from the cops

    its a 99 or so so its about 240 hp

    at the end once the dumbass (john bunnell or w/e) says that he got away cause the car broke down u can tell that they reshowed the clip from when the kid turned around at the median

    they just slowed it down and stopped it before he U-ied it

    so yea the point is the kid got away...aaand media's dumb sometimes

    I will say this: cops have a hard job, especially yank ones. The deal with the pursuit though is the S**t cars they give them. What in the F**k do you give them these boats to drive around in that are guzzling petrol, can't steer for S**t (I mean come on, if you get smoked my a 15 year old, that's one thing, but the cop didn't have a F**king chance to catch ANYONE the moment the road curves or is wet. American cop cars in this video all showed the same basic flaw: hard to handle and they overturn like mad. In my country, we have no cops on the highway, only in towns. Do people break the speed limit? Yes, the roads here are always twisting, so if you do drive too fast, chances are you are going to be driving your last trip. And US cop cars are so obvious, why don't you have stealth cars like in Germany and other places. You don't do stupid S**t if you don't know who is behind you. US cars in general S**k , burn too much fuel and break down quickly, and are ugly too. And why this obsession to stop people on highways by crashing into them? Americans, sigh, does every one of them want to be Micheal Knight? Tseuss!

    A LT1 camaro police car by far is a higher performance vehicle than an old M3, The LT1 police car typically puts out around 345HP, and although the camaros of the past could be purchased with the "police car package", this is not even close to ones actually driven by law enfocement officials. When chasing someone at high speeds, what would be the point of going FASTER than the person you are chasing? The reason the car is back as far as it is is that if the kid spun out or began to stop abruptly, they could be in danger of crashing themselves. And even the thought that the car is probobly putting 260hp to the road is not even close. This isn't the 60s when they found HP readings straight off the engine, new readings are off the actual drive train that the car is designed to be driven with. And those who think that that police wouldnt take advantage of better engine timing and other benefits of CUSTOM chips should rethink. People get old dodge avengers up to 140mph on the highways, big deal.

    they claim he broke down and they apprehend him,but all they do is reply the part when he slams on thebrakes to make a u-turn and put it at the end and claim "thats" when they caught him. The kid really made it home, but they traced the car back to the house and he was picked up there.. not as exciting but thats how he was caught

    1. The officer, even thou he had a scarry experience- he will have good memories from it as he survived it very good.

    2. About the chase- I think that the teenage keeps driveing fast because he had "a game" with the police. I didn't hear any calls for him to stop only a chase. I think that it would work better if during the chase they will scare him by " stop now or you will loose you driving license for 5 years" or "If you don't stop now I am going to shoot at your car" stuff like that might make him stop. But I leave it for the officers to judge as I wasn't there( Dha )

      1966 the ford GT 40 came in 1,2,3, at the lemans 24 hour race. the next year they won also. the big lemans start the driver of the ford WALKED to his car while the rest ran to theirs and won the race. so now what oyu have to do is figure out what you pay for your beamer and what you pay for a camaro. ford made a new model of the GT 40 compared to the firari wich was 70 K more the GT beat it at everything. and yes that included handling. the american companies can do the corners it's just more fun to do quarter miles. you name somthing more awesome than a funny car at night? no second chance there to win not like a two hour race.

    I have an E30 M3 and they're super fun to drive. That car would have totally outperformed the Camaro in maneuverability - you can see it when he hits the brakes - but he didn't really take advantage of that for some reason. What I don't get is why people go on these high speed chases - if you wanna drive fast, just bring the car over to the track and drive as fast as you dare!

      not defending the kid but if a 15 year old in BMW can give seasoned cops a run for their money it shows he quality of the BMW, the fact it stopped and the cop almost ran into the back of it was one example u can make any car go faster but its a matter of balance to get it to stop, and in the end the only reason the chase was cut short was the fact the kid had wrecked it bumping over kerbs

      It's not just a "factory" Camaro the cop was driving. It had all the police upgrades - racing suspension, vented disc brakes, beefed up power steering, upgrade chip, speed-rated tires, etc. Also, at those speeds if you get sideways there is NO recovery.....not in Camaro, not in a Benz and certainly not in beemer. I'd say the cop did pretty good keeping the car upright and keep from hitting other cars.

    The "police package" Camaro (known as the B4C) has virtually no upgrades over a regular Camaro. There is no such thing as a "pursuit chip" for these cars. The only real upgrades they have are a few beefed up suspension bits, cooling system, and alternator to drive all the extra power goodies like lights, sirens, etc. That car put MAYBE 260 hp to the wheels, and weighs more than the regular production version.
