Ya know what, MetaCafe Community? Star Trek is (not was) a solid story and model for everyone.

To any Star Trek aficionado, these series were never about "shoot-em-up bang-bang." They were always about what was, what is and what could be. An android sacrificing himself for his Captain. For his friend. Does anyone get the gist of this? A mechanical thing, putting together an extraordinary plan, to accomplish a necessary end. You just read a script for loyalty. Ascribed to a, thing. I hope everyone sees the "could be." Data didn't do for himself, he did for everyone else.

LOL loved the film but i would love to sign that petition. Oh and as for Sycosys comment....I've known a few trekies and the only ones that employ any body are the over night managers and McDonalds.
