Ya know what, MetaCafe Community? Star Trek is (not was) a solid story and model for everyone.

To any Star Trek aficionado, these series were never about "shoot-em-up bang-bang." They were always about what was, what is and what could be. An android sacrificing himself for his Captain. For his friend. Does anyone get the gist of this? A mechanical thing, putting together an extraordinary plan, to accomplish a necessary end. You just read a script for loyalty. Ascribed to a, thing. I hope everyone sees the "could be." Data didn't do for himself, he did for everyone else.

LOL loved the film but i would love to sign that petition. Oh and as for Sycosys comment....I've known a few trekies and the only ones that employ any body are the over night managers and McDonalds. The rest? Well you can find them at any hole in the wall RPG store sitting in groups in the dark corner table playing with each other.
