Truck Driver Assists The Police
- Way to Go, Truckers.
I have observed Truckers to be the most intelligent, (situationally) aware folks on the road. Here, in Hawaii & on the Mainland U.S. Insomuch they bring us our food, other goods etc., they also look out for us, as a community. Thanks Truckers, 10-4. You folks STILL, use "10-4" yes? Those were Kenworth's not Macks, But anyways. Don't worry to much about us, unless you cut us off, we don't like that much. But for the most part, we have to be extra alert out there and watch out for all you crazy Four wheelers (name for cars). LOL. Thanks for all the props.

My father has been a trucker for 35 yrs and Ive ridden and drove them myself. Trucks dont stop short and they are big but the men and women that drive most of them are as good at what they do as any other professional. If you see one swerving a little its because his or her dispatcher is working them way to hard and they need a break and some sleep. Dont be afraid, the only human I can fall asleep in a car with when they are driving is a truck driver.

I saw something like that on cops some time a go, where the truck was heavely damaged and in order for the cop to write an accident report ,he had to write the trucker a ticket for wreckless driving pretty sad ,a cdl driver with a ticket like that can lose his license.

The trucker aided the police in helping to stop a bad guy. Plus, even if the cops decided to go after the trucker for it, it would be a ticket.
You should look around sometime, not just inside, but outside, and unless you live in a log cabin in the woods, I'm sure you'll find almost everything you've ever owned came in on a truck. Although if you did build a cabin, where'd you get the tools, from the store, how'd they get them? Came in on a truck.

Its sad, but I\'d bet the police didnt give those 2 truck drivers ANY recouperation for their services. And their insurance company laughed at them for getting in the way. The driver\'s company probably fired him.... WHILE ALL the cops that drew guns on the suspect at that time...all got medals and awards.
Figures in todays society, no one gets appreciation for stepping up unless you have a badge to prove your allowed to do so
