    thanks for your intoduction jew harp 101 lecture..
    long time now.. i was looking for a jew harp.. finally i got one. i m so happy with lecture 101 but looking for 102, 201 202 etc :)

    i allready cut my lip slightly, anyway foung that i ve got some talent.. because when i play the sound is coming out.. (not so pleasent sounds as my sister calls) but it takes me away..

    pls some more explanation- some more help.

    I had one when I was a teen. I could not get it to make any sound at all. I did manage to cut my lips several times and chip a tooth. You did a great job but, I'll never touch another one!

      Thanks for your comment. I can sympathize with your initial unpleasant experience. If you do choose to try again, just make sure your teeth actually come into comtact with the jawharp, then make a few gentle, tentative strokes on the tone bar to make sure you have complete clearance. That way, you can practice without any danger. :) Dirk
