      ...but the price tag is way beyond $300 Billion. The GAO puts it north of 700B already. The most interesting thing is what that number doesn't include:
      The mushrooming VA budget (for the long-term care of disabled head cases and amputees), repairs and replacement of equipment (falls under standard pentagon budget) nor does it include the interest we're paying to the Asian governments that are buying all the T-Bills (debt) that fund this war.

      None of that is included in the "official" cost of the war. If you throw in the increased price of Oil we're in the range of $2 Trillion dollars ... the price of the neo-con's imperial dreams.

The majority of the infrastructure of the country could have been rebuilt by now using mostly iraqi money. it is not our fault they are too stupid to help themselves.
