    This adds to my earlier comment:

    That flash that you saw before the UFO takes off I'm willing to bet you came from the launching pad of the missile! Ex: When NASA Rockets takes off there is a Big Bright Light from the combustion process because this rocket is just taking off, then it leaves a steady stream as it moves along. SO:
    1.UFO Spotted
    2.Rocket was launched and when it did it created that "Flash" that you saw
    3. UFO Takes off afterwards after detecting it.
    If these unknown Species are far more advanced than we with this type of technology then what makes us think that we're not creating a conflict with them by launching money at them? NASA knows we're being watched, but by what/who?

    I believe this footage is true because of what took place here. Analysis below:
    1. NASA observing an UFO for some time.
    2. US attempts to launch a missile at it.
    3. UFO escapes after detecting a threat and slowly zooms off leaving NO combustion string behind during takeoff.
    You can tell Earth-to-Air Missiles due to its propulsion streams comming from the back of them like the jets high in the sky that we see everyday. Sad to say that In the near future we're going to see more and more of these UFO ships. . . Are they friends or foes? I believe Somewhere within the US Air Force, as well as NASA have the answer to that and more.

    It was not ice. It was truly a space craft from another planet. We are not alone in the universe and our planet has been home to aliens long before humans arrived. In fact, we were brought here, in test tubes, by vessels from a galaxy beyond our own and have been an experiment to see if this small planet could sustain life. Every now and then, we are checked in on, to see how badly we are destroying the planet. I think the experiment is almost over.

  • I saw this before

    OMG I saw this about thirty years ago! My brother and my two sons and I were out and we witnessed the exact same motions in the clear sky above us just a short while after we thought we had seen a UFO on the ground. The object was glowing red and moved off to one side the same as this then went at right angles and took off quick. Unbelievable then ... still unbelievable now. Great stuff.

  • AN EXPLANATION

    It turned out that it wasn't a UFO in the end, but a particle of ice that was drifting along with the shuttle very close. When one shuttle's little stabliser rocket thing fired, it was blown away and that's why it suddenly changes direction and accelerates rapidly.
    You can see the stabiliser firing by a splitsecond of illumination on the left of the picture just before the object accelerates.

      this was a famous thing, it was in the papers, and then the explanation was famous too, it's very obvious if you think about it.

      small particle close up, gets pushed by small force close up, blurred camera has no depth perception, people think it's something of significant size, far away accelerating very quickly, but its not.

      i can't believe people can't just read my explanation, the well known explanation that was on TV, in papers etc. after the "ufo sighting" was in papers and on TV and just think "ah, ok, that explains it, it's so obvious now". that's what i thought when i saw the explanation on a documentary. i can't believe there's even discussion after i posted the friggin obvious, but overlooked explanation; people are just too stubborn or too stupid to see this.

      Where did you hear this from?
      If it was just a shift in the point of view of the camera... MORE then just that object would have moved. We would have seen the edge of the planets horizon move up or down in the shot. Also, if you look at the earth as the UFO altered course, there is no change in pace or direction. I could maybe agree that the burst in the lower left corner of the shot being from the rocket thruster stabilizer. But when you look at the light as it dissipates after the "burst", it follows the curvature of the earth at the flash recedes. If it would have been from the shuttle, the flash would have been more localized, and as it dissipated it would have been in a spherical shape, not just a crescent that follows the curvature of the earth. PLUS a second after the flash, you clearly see some sort of projectile or rocket that screams out of earth’s atmosphere towards the UFO. Now I revert back to your "shift in the camera from the stabilizing rocket" theory. Not only would the UFO have moved away from the camera, or appear to because of the shift in the camera as you say, but that streak would have pivoted as well. Plus I find it hard to take you seriously when you say things like “little stabliser rocket thing”. You misspelled stabilizer, and even throughout your argument, you kept saying “that’s why is suddenly changes direction and accelerate” and “just before the object accelerates”. This confuses me because your theory is the object IS NOT accelerating, the shifting in the cameras make it appear this way.

      camera stays still, ice particle near the camera and near the stabiliser changes velocity when the stabiliser fires. The only point about the camera is that an ice particle moving a few inches up close to the camera was mistaken for an object suddently moving a few thousand miles in a couple of seconds far away. this clip is very well known and I think my source of the explanation was some guy in the studio on a TV news show.
      It doesn't follow the curvature of the earth, i think its a lot of wishful thinking on your part. There may be aliens out there, but this time it's not them.

      My theory (the official, well known theory that most peopel accept) DOES say the object accelerates. I thoguht i explained it well enough, but you've obviously seriously misunderstood. I read over what i wrote again and i gotta say i can't see where you got that i thought the camera was moving from, but your whole argument is based on your misunderstanding of what's moved in the explanation i used.

      No shift in camera angle is needed. The slow moving object (UFO) is an ice particle. The shuttle is surrounded by them. Quite common. The flash is a burst from the manuevering thruster illuminated by the sun. The thruster is not a rocket type blast but, rather, a compressed gas release. The speeding object is a particle that was either released with the compressed gas (frozen) or nearer to the thruster, thereby being pushed at a greater speed. The UFO ice particle is just further away from the thruster and effected less due to the vacuum and distance. No great mystery here. This clip has been refuted by NASA, numerous physicists, and video analysts.

    UFO or unidentified flying object doesn't mean aliens, it means we dont know what it is. For example those high tech US secret spyplanes are "UFOs" because people dont know what they are on sight.

    Life has already been proven on Mars, although microscopic and fosilized, it existed.

    The Omniverse is filled with uncountable Universes and our universe is filled with trillions of Galaxys and our Galaxy is filled with billions / trilions of Solar Systems. Our Solar System has 9 maybe 10 planets, we know life is native to at least two of them. Odds are - life exists elsewhere, it just goes makes sense.

    Now Aliens visiting us in their Space Ships is another matter. They would have to go to great expense, travel billions+/- of miles, beat insurmountable odds to find our planet, right? So why is it, they always seem to pick some socially outcast, three toothed hillbilly, living in a trailer - to make contact with???!!!

    I didn't read the post from another but this cannot be from a shuttle because the four of us saw them just over 33 years ago. I said earlier it was about thirty years ago but then I calculated how old my children and my brother were, so 33 yrs it is. Still no explanation for it.

      i gave an explanation for this particular incident. This footage is taken from a camera on a shuttle. in THIS case it is a small particle close to the camera that got blasted away by a stabiliser.
      Obviously not every UFO is explanied by this, that would be a retarded thing to sugest, but its also retarded to say this one can't be because of that because some unrelated one isn't.

    Anything we don't recognize is an "unidentified object". If it is moving thru air it can be said to be "flying". If someone throws a penny across the room, but you don't know it's a penny, you have an unidentified flying object. That doesn't mean it came from outer space and was flown by a little green man.
