this was a famous thing, it was in the papers, and then the explanation was famous too, it's very obvious if you think about it.

small particle close up, gets pushed by small force close up, blurred camera has no depth perception, people think it's something of significant size, far away accelerating very quickly, but its not.

i can't believe people can't just read my explanation, the well known explanation that was on TV, in papers etc. after the "ufo sighting" was in papers and on TV and just think "ah, ok, that explains it, it's so obvious now". that's what i thought when i saw the explanation on a documentary. i can't believe there's even discussion after i posted the friggin obvious, but overlooked explanation; people are just too stubborn or too stupid to see this.

Where did you hear this from?
If it was just a shift in the point of view of the camera... MORE then just that object would have moved. We would have seen the edge of the planets horizon move up or down in the shot. Also, if you look at the earth as the UFO altered course, there is no change in pace or direction. I could maybe agree that the burst in the lower left corner of the shot being from the rocket thruster stabilizer. But when you look at the light as it dissipates after the "burst", it follows the curvature of the earth at the flash recedes. If it would have been from the shuttle, the flash would have been more localized, and as it dissipated it would have been in a spherical shape, not just a crescent that follows the curvature of the earth. PLUS a second after the flash, you clearly see some sort of projectile or rocket that screams out of earth’s atmosphere towards the UFO. Now I revert back to your "shift in the camera from the stabilizing rocket" theory. Not only would the UFO have moved away from the camera, or appear to because of the shift in the camera as you say, but that streak would have pivoted as well. Plus I find it hard to take you seriously when you say things like “little stabliser rocket thing”. You misspelled stabilizer, and even throughout your argument, you kept saying “that’s why is suddenly changes direction and accelerate” and “just before the object accelerates”. This confuses me because your theory is the object IS NOT accelerating, the shifting in the cameras make it appear this way.

camera stays still, ice particle near the camera and near the stabiliser changes velocity when the stabiliser fires. The only point about the camera is that an ice particle moving a few inches up close to the camera was mistaken for an object suddently moving a few thousand miles in a couple of seconds far away. this clip is very well known and I think my source of the explanation was some guy in the studio on a TV news show.
It doesn't follow the curvature of the earth, i think its a lot of wishful thinking on your part. There may be aliens out there, but this time it's not them.

My theory (the official, well known theory that most peopel accept) DOES say the object accelerates. I thoguht i explained it well enough, but you've obviously seriously misunderstood. I read over what i wrote again and i gotta say i can't see where you got that i thought the camera was moving from, but your whole argument is based on your misunderstanding of what's moved in the explanation i used.

No shift in camera angle is needed. The slow moving object (UFO) is an ice particle. The shuttle is surrounded by them. Quite common. The flash is a burst from the manuevering thruster illuminated by the sun. The thruster is not a rocket type blast but, rather, a compressed gas release. The speeding object is a particle that was either released with the compressed gas (frozen) or nearer to the thruster, thereby being pushed at a greater speed. The UFO ice particle is just further away from the thruster and effected less due to the vacuum and distance. No great mystery here. This clip has been refuted by NASA, numerous physicists, and video analysts.

i gave an explanation for this particular incident. This footage is taken from a camera on a shuttle. in THIS case it is a small particle close to the camera that got blasted away by a stabiliser.
Obviously not every UFO is explanied by this, that would be a retarded thing to sugest, but its also retarded to say this one can't be because of that because some unrelated one isn't.
