A key instrument in Irish music is the Feadog Irish Whistle. Feadog (Gaelic for "tin whistle") claims to be the original; one listen and you'll never dispute that claim. Imported from Dublin and tuned to the key of D Major, Feadog is made of burnished brass with a durable plastic mouthpiece. The tone is pure and honest. It's accompanied by a clear, concise 30 page instruction booklet and a corresponding compact disk. The booklet includes a basic fingering chart, a more complex international fingering chart, well-diagrammed techniques and general musical principles, and music for 31 songs, including slip jigs, double jigs, hornpipes and airs. The CD tracks the booklet exactly. You'll find it amazingly helpful to hear the songs being played on the CD as you learn to play them. Includes Feadog Irish Whistle, compact disk and instruction booklet. Recommended for age 7 through adult. More»
