The Stirling engine is a heat engine that is vastly different from the internal-combustion engine in your car. Invented by Robert Stirling in 1816, the Stirling engine has the potential to be much more efficient than a gasoline or diesel engine. But today, Stirling engines are used only in some very specialized applications, like in submarines or auxiliary power generators for yachts, where quiet operation is important. Although there hasn't been a successful mass-market application for the Stirling engine, some very high-power inventors are working on it.

Is this a trick? What is going on? Is he/she just starting a electric engine? The vid does not show what is being warmed up or any info on how it i creating that much motion. I don't think this is real. I'll go google Sterling Engine.

  But to maskedman381, people post fake videos all the time. Producer rewards pays you for submissions, people post fake, but cool looking things to get views and get cash. So many people scam on here

Impressive scaled model of one too. I feel there is a need for something like that, it couldn't hurt to experiment with it in other applications such as vehicles. Imagine a slow burning fire being able put out like that, of course there would have to be a much bigger flame.

  there is a company in europe that makes a stirling electricity generator. It uses wood pellets to burn and produces 3 euros of electricity for every 1 euro spent on fuel. European electricity suppliers have to pay you if you feed the grid! As a bonus it also heats your hot water and heating supply!! SORTED!!
