Thats
a nice effect, however, depending on the picture it also helps to add perspective to the grass. What i usually do to simulate it is i place my brush size the biggest i want to use, on the bottom of the image and as i go higher up on the page i gradually decrease my brush size. Its a neat little trick i use instead of using the whole filter and vanishing point. But like i said, it depends on the picture. But yeah good stuff.
