I think my cat was posessed last night. I strangly woke up around 3am to see him next to my bed on the night stand staring me in the face. When I get up he runs away and starts hissing at me. Notice I don't ever touch him, whenever I get close, he goes crazy. The next day (today) he is back to normal and purring at me???

    He may be hurt or sick. Cats generally try to hide their pain, but he may have flare-ups that are unbearable. That's why he's hiding away and snarling.

      Cat's try to communicate the best way they can. Clearly he was trying to tell you something when he was staring at you from the nightstand. They are very proud animals and try to solve problems on their own, but when they get sick, sometimes even cats will ask for help. I'm sure poking him with the stick did not instill a lot of trust in you. Try being nice to him.

    The cat is not posessed. I have had cats like that when playing with them. It may be lonely. And when you are poking a cat with a stick like that, they will attack like that. Maybe the cat wants to be left alone. From the video I saw it looked like the cat was hiding under the bed. Which tells me it wanted to be lefted alone.

      i know that's how it looks...but trust me, I love my cat. When i was trying to pet him, he was acting the same way, then he bit me. that's when he ran under the bed...i know it really looks like im jabbing him..but just look a little closer, I would never purposely upset him, especially not with those claws!!! lol
