The canoe was a peaceful means of transportation into the Everglades, even though nature, in the form of Mangrove Tree roots, objected to the intrusion.

This clip is a segment from "Manatees "R" Us", the free Intrepid Berkeley Explorer video guide to Florida that starts with Disneyworld, followed by endangered Manatees, Alligators, the Everglades (by airboat, swamp buggy & canoe), Key West, art deco, the Kennedy Space Center, and much more.
