  • just enjoy...

i dont think magicians make tricks just so people can argue over how they think its done. as stated earlier...just sit back a watch the trick with an open mind.

this is definitly one of the better ones ive seen

  • Love Him

Doesn't matter if people nowadays don't appreciate simple magic tricks now. I still love David Copperfield and what he did to make people think about the impossible, the things you can do by just believing. He's good.

And yep! I want to know what music was playing in the background!!! It's wonderful!!!

  • Check out the second pile

when he picks it up you can see a black queen on top, then a black 8 and then a red queen.
He puts the ace on the balck queen, then covers it with his hand.
When he moves his hand you can see the red queen on top. he puts it down with out showing its back and then the black queen and then the 8.
with a good fingers control, when he covers the ace he moves the red queen from the bottom of the pile to the top of it, and then, when he puts it down, he put the ace down with it too, connected to its back.
You can see the same thing with the third pile...

    • Corection

red queen is on top when starts, black is on bottom

      By mr_jpdlm 1133626253
  • liked that

No way to figure out card tricks, so sit back and anticipate how it's going to turn out. This was very gracefully done and the background music made it a nice little show

  • The cost is $31.80

    Buy and learn

    By Dragonspears 1178757041
  • Not sure if anyone has mentioned it alre...

...3 bottom cards were aces. Quite obviously.

Color changes, I think, were done with one hand mostly. Notice position of left hand fingers before and after the change (it's different), also it's always the back card that appears up front. He flips the back card half way with his spare fingers while his other hand covers the maneuver, then his right hand holds the card steady and he simply lifts it into place and uses left hand fingers to really get it in there tight.

First card of each 3-card set is dealt back onto the table more carefully than others. Not sure how he can throw a double lift on the table though...magnetic cards maybe? He is filthy rich after all.

Very well performed however, he's good with the hands :)

    • It is in print

Just to give you a hint it was two sided tape

      By Dragonspears 1178754485
    • Yes, it's called

The Pass. A simple and essential slight.

Though his ace production was really nice. I want to learn it.

    • ...

yup i noticed that stuff too :)

  • Glue?

By the way, it's double-sided scotch tape

    By FCampos 1150220535
  • Glue

I think he used glue, there're already 3 aces under the black one in the beginning.
in the first pile, he used glue to stick the ace with one of the cards so when he placed it down it looked like there're only 3 cards left
i'm clueless about the second pile ><
the third pile maybe with this finger and glue

    • so so slik!

simply amazing! the only thing i dont like about copperfield is that all his tricks are on a stage he never does anything like blaine or angel. street magic is more powerful then stage because its right in your face.

      By harj18 1137909906
    • street magic

Keep in mind that a large chunk of David Blaine's street magic tricks are camera gags. Of course Copperfield's sleights are far away, he's one of the most famous and classy magicians in the world. It's rather difficult to book him for a small, private gathering instead of in a theatre.
