I have played both sports with much success, but soccer you are not allowed to hit the other player. In american football it is all about how hard you can hit. Just check the injured listing for players during the year and all the padding (to make them big) does help when you have two people over 130kgs running into each other. the most injuries for soccer players are usually knee injuries. American football,, neck, ribs, knees, shoulders, etc. etc. etc. Now that is tough!

if american football is so rough why do they wear paddings wat make them look double there fukn size n footballs players(soccer) dont wear any paddinds expect shin pads n thats reasonable so think about that tough guy!!!!!

We may have changed the name, but as for disrespecting it.... just remember that USA is now ranked 8th in the world, now that is even higher than Italy or England and God forbid Colombia at 25th in the world. I do believe that is respect and well deserved. American Football is a totally different sport, but just as hard to master as soccer. Anyone can play both sports, just a few are really good at it. The only thing about soccer is that the system rewards the people that fake being hurt which some teams have taken to a new high with falling down that gives the sport the image of wimps... blame the players faking, not the people watching the show.

Soccer is SO boring. Try playing some REAL football like Americans do. You have to a REAL man to play American football, not one of these wimpy little schoolboys.
