    someone wrote this book and now some are living by it. Was it wrote as fiction or non-fiction? who can say no one was there then. Hey if it helps someone through their life, great and i know it does but it is still a book. a long boring book contradicting itself the whole way through.

    If we all come from God, where did God come from?
    The questions that religion seeks to answer are in fact questions it cannot answer itself. When will people understand that all religions on the face of the planet are only, and i stress on ONLY, codes of conduct for the human race. These codes are one and the same in every religion...dont kill, steal, etc...Beyond that religion is but a bunch of mumbo jumbo. Believe in higher power and that's that. No middle men priests, saints, or prophets...just us and a higher power...All our other questions will be answered the second we die...

      The image of God stops people from sinning. God hold down many people from doing crimes. It helps people with the fear of death. There might not be god. God is the answer to what we do not know. The Image of God helps people. Like you said most religions believe to not to steal dont kill etc. But what if the thought of God makes him there he may no be able to physically help people but he spiritually helps people.
