    • It can be pretty dangerous...

      I actually have another video pending that's regarding the dangers of electricity. Exploding lunchmeat, fried "fake fingers" and stuff. Hopefully it'll make it outta the review process soon (it's linked on my MySpace tho..HINT). Part of it uses the same transformer used in the video above.

    • You can...but isn't recommended for home...

      It's safer to do with a tesla coil than with a neon transformer (which is what I used), but in either case it isn't a good idea unless you really know what you're doing, and can maintain a good safety margin. You can get pretty crispy on the circuit I was using.
