Sorry man, but the truth is anyone looking to steal a bike will be carrying a small pair of cutters with them. I could spend a total of 5 seconds or less time cutting through that dinky little chain than fiddling with the combo.

hmmm....
12,096 combonations huh. i dont think so because the most a lock with four spining dial can only have 10,000 because every number from 1 to 9999 is a possible combonation including 0000 but since your lock olny goes from 1 to 6 its way less than 12,096.

How can you have 12096 different combinations with with a lock that has four spools numbered 0 - 9???? First combination is 0000 all the way up to 9999, in my book thatâ€™s only 10000 different combinations. Please explain to me how you came up with the number 12096!

Confused
How can there be 12,096 different possible combinations on a four barrel lock? The combinations start at 0000 and finish at 9999 which means you can't set a number higher than 9999.

  combo's arent a straghtforward 9999 1 ... you have to use powers... for ever single digit on each wheel you have for as many wheels as you have. So if the wheels have 10 digits (0-9), and you have 6 wheels, it's 10^6 = 1mil combinations... in this case, 4 wheels, 6 digits (1-6) = 6^4 = 1296 combinations...

Since there is only six numbers PLUS zero that mean 7*7*7*7=2401 Meaning only 2401 Combinations available for your little lock. Learn math.
