Of course...
...there are numerous utilities available on the web that will allow you to brute-crack the password on any winzip file... so you're taking your chances trying to use this method to secure files. And yes, I have used a couple of them to crack various passworded files I have downloaded in the past.
Winzip and other compression softwares' password locking is considered one of the weakest there is.
