Magicians use slight of hand, camera tricks, mirrors, smoke, wires, etc. to put on a show for us. Magicians do NOT get 'powers' from gods or demons. I can't believe I'm having to explain this to you. Criss Angel uses common camera tricks and staged audiences to "trick" people... as he is a performer of magic "tricks." Despite being somewhat entertaining, all of his illusions are easily explainable. Although it could be argued that he is currently the leader of the dark side (read: unrespected by other magicians) of magic... but this is only because he degrades the quality of magic as an art by using inferior methods (read: camera tricks and staged audiences) to produce his illusions.
