i am a korean and i was shocked by the horrible disaster that happened on the morning of september 11, 2001. i, too, share sadness with you guys. maybe it's time for all people to stop fighting and get together in peace. war brings war, not peace.

On Sep.11 and a few days afterwards I recorded as much news and footage as posisble of the incident. Not that I enjoyed watching it, of course (I nearly threw up that afternoon just thinking about everything) just because I was in such shock, I guess. Now I can't even watch a 15 second clip like this without feeling that same awfulness and nearly crying. What a horrible thing to have happened.

I watched it on CNN from a lounge in a well known Flight school located at Le Bourget Airport France,of Lindbergh's fame, where I was a Pilot Instructor. The morning after ,in the instructor room, a colleague told me that a few weeks before a bunch of Saudi Nationals,close to the Crown,had come to us,with pockets full of greens,requesting rides in our simulators,which were granted by the boss. These guys had no pilot licences, they were interested only in airbone flying,no take offs, no landings please !.. The 3 instructors who participated in these seances were rewarded handsomely,in cash of course. At no time did it occur to them that the whole thing smelled fishy. Reacting as expected from a former Major US part 121 airline Captain,I contacted the security branch of the Paris US Embassy,the French " Renseignements Generaux" and the Gendarmerie a bloc away from us...Needless to say the S**t hit the fan, and my life was made so miserable I had to leave.
