Yes he is blindfolded, there was another video describing how they do it. People who are cubers are very smart. The cube is a bunch of algorithms and certain moves, so the cuber looks at the cube usually having a set amount of time. He thinks through his moves and then remembers them. So... no pot smokers with bad memories could probably do this... none the less the rest of us with poor attention span, and those who can't even remember what they ate last week. Awesome video showing what people can do when they set their minds to it. Congrats.

memorize the moves and mark the cube by touch. even without the braile markers as someone mentioned, memorzing the cube and practicing is more than enough. he's not a genius, hes just got a good memory and patience to practice
