      i have no idea where you got this idea from - HIV is spead by body fluids. condoms stop fluid contact. so they stop the spead of HIV.

      condoms however do not prevent spread of things like herpes or syphillis - bugger :-(

      HIV and aids can be stopped by condoms. It isn't worth betting your life on because condoms can be faulty, and sometimes it can still get through, but it does help alot
