Ozark love-in, but why don't you rednecks just drive normal cars and stay on the pavement, like normal people? Driving crazily around on dirt roads is an indication of not having a life. What a pack of dipsticks.

I absolutely love fast vehicles. SO. Question: what difference is there between driving rediculously fast on pavement and doing so offroad? At least off road there is less chance of running over a pedestrian.

can you prove that you have a life? at least driving a 4X4 on dirt roads is a skill that may be useful someday

just because he lingers in the air for a moment doesn't mean there was upward thrust. In fact, upward thrust is impossible in this situation. "Upward thrust" can only occur as a result of decreased air pressure above the mass with respect to the air pressure below.

It sure looks like at the tail end of that jump that there is some lift, while not overcoming the weight of the vehicle obviously, It did seem to catch enough air to prolong its duration while off the ground.

Yeah, caught some air that helped but you'll also notice that the road had quite a drop to it after the paved part. That helped with his hang time.

youre both right kind of, not upward thrust but that guy definately had some lift going, he didn't just ramp, he lingered for a bit.

there was deffinently some lift generated. have you ever seen a non race car/ truck jump? the engine is quite heavy so they will almost always land front wheels first. however, the lift produced by the truck in the air caused the heavy front to rise.
