The sport is created origin from brunei, Java, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. the ball is made from hard rattan. back 3000 bc it was use for foot soldier training. this skills is needed because of jungle war. A lot obsticle such as bush and big trees. so that the fast and acrobatic move is compulsary.

Sepak Raga & Sepak Takraw is two different technic of game. Sepak raga is play by many person in circle/round, but what have shown in the clips is so called sepak takraw, caure played by regu (three person each side), seperate by net & counted untill game (points of 15 or 21).
Still, the game use the kind of round ball like rattan made, but in takraw it made by plastic syntetic.
It was origin originally from the time of Malacca Sultanate, of Land of Malay, now known as Malaysia. Later was spread the technics and skills to Malay Archipelagos and Asia.
