The H2 is a disgrace to the hummer name. Even the civilian Hummer (H1) is a very capable off-road machine and is no joke. I love how people make the H2 the representative for Hummer. It's a POS for bling bling losers with no class and no brains.

Problem 1: Its stock setup is not that good
Problem 2: You dont nail the gas when you have an open front diff. Thats when breakage occurs.

For the H2 to handle the offroad takes modification, its really not that great a truck unlike the H1 and H3, an H3 could have tooken that.

Having said that, he only got a bent trackrod or snapped balljoint....get those reinforced and hes off again!

I am the biggest fan of hummer. I use to love them no matter if there was a better preforming suv. However my dislike for them began when they made the H2. It is cool and all but the engine sucked. In fact the only thing that is hummer about that car is the body. Who the hells puts a weak gas engine. Hummer were not ment to be sort of fast suv's. They were ment to be big loud disel powered tanks on wheels. They were made to destroy things and then run over them for good luck. Even after this I still sort of liked them. Then came the H3. The only thing i have 2 say about this car is the only time it goes off road is when you drop something and you can't find it. Sitll, as long as they had the H1, i was ok. Now i hate them because due to high gas prices, there gonna stop selling them 2 the public. Now that really suxs. Now you may ask what does this have 2 do with this video. Simple, it proves 2 off roading people like me that with out the H1, hummer has got jack poo poo.

Jeeps are tough too, as long as you don't mind dealing with the crude build quality and poor reliability.

First, it was the TIE ROD that broke. The axle on that is a cv shaft, same bullshit that they use on a land rover caca box. The tie rod is solely there for steering, no structural meaning except to turn the tire.
Second, At least the guy has the balls to get out and wheel his S**t unlike all you poserific asshats on here.
Third, he has done a lot of trails that you wouldnt think of doing because he doesnt treat it like a street queen.

It's an H2. Those aren't even real Hummers like the military issue. They are built off the Chevrolet 2500 series truck chasis. So the question is: Would you take you 2500 off road? If not, then don't take your H2 off road when it weighs about 1700 pounds more. The original Hummer is an engineering marvel. The H2 is garbage.
