    Its a mystery really. No doubt he possesed amazing skill but he also used steriods.
    If you think about it, its probably likely that he only used steriods near the end of his career because that is when he began to loose 'it' but then again you may just think i am in denail that he did take them at his peak because, well, you don't want to have to deny talent like his. I guess its up to you to decide though, isn't it!

    I had no idea that Maradona was so sick. Iv'e never seen any clips of him playing for barcelona. He was extremely confident on the ball, made defenders look like idiots.
    I think defenders were way too intimidated by him though. He used a little shimmy to get by them (c'mon just reach for the ball), that would never work as often nowadays. Defenders are much better today, you have to be VERY good (props to Ronaldinho).
    Gotta give Maradona his props though he had great vision and the ball stuck to his feet.
