be careful!!!

  ignorant about science.. don't bother doing it.. if u don't know basic physics/chemistry behind these cool/not so cool experiments, i can bet that you probably don't know the risks involved. don't bother doing it!

This works
I have done this many times, it's ether, the "quick start" spray that works, it's very flammable or explosive and it does inflate a tire exactly like that, I used it to get the tires to "beed" themselves.

Stupid
I have done this befor but I used a match to drop next to the tire and it always worked great to pop the bead but you still have to pump the tire up and quick as it will start to shrink the tire in after a few seconds and undo what you just did.

Getting air
You can get air in a remote place with a little preplanning. First you need about a 10ft. peice of hose, on one end you need to atach a male threaded end, the same thread size as your spark plug. And on the other end a valve stem filler. Remove one spark plug and screw the hose into the cylinder. Your car will run on three, or seven cylinders. There is a lot of pressure that comes out of that cylinder. It can fill the tire to 60 psi easily.
