This is a co-workers custom built rocket. He made a sweet Ignition switch to boot! This was filmed in 15-25mph gusting winds causing the rocket to fall over twice.

  • Rocket Guys

These Guys "ROCK" I have moved them to the top of my Hero list. The Hunk on the back of the Expedition "Rrrrr" is all I can say. He can fly my rocket any time..

  • Gusting wind my ass

The shirt was not blowing around and the rocket would not have landed that close. I made these rockets when I was 8 years old, and still do.

    • Turn your sound on

You can clearly hear the wind gusting on the 2nd blast. The reason its going into the wind is due to the bottom fins catching wind which makes it tilt into the wind. Had thier been top fins also it would not have landed as close. I hear what your saying though...hope this makes sense.

    • No Chute because..

The wind was really gusting and we werent sure how high it would go and didn't want to risk losing the rocket in the trees or the unknown so he didn't bring it with us. ;)

  • I know nothing about rockets.. but

after trying to 'fire' it and nothing happens... I don't think it such a great idea to look into where the thrust is supposed to come out! A bit like looking down the barrel of a gun after a mis-fire!! OoopS!
