lol =) I've had this same experience, only I WAS paying attention and hit my breaks. There was a two-lane car back up in rush hour and I was turning into a parking lot. The lane closest to me had cars, the lane farthest was clear. I went slowly just in case there was someone I couldn't see approaching in the far lane... and there was- a motorcyclist comin' at me and doing about 50mph... heading towards a traffic jam. No, I didn't see him coming until the last moment. Who would if they insist on driving like badasses? Then they look at you disgustedly, like you're the idiot, when they are the ones flyin' round like a bat outta hell. I shoulda just ran over his ass- it's the only way he'd learn. ;)

the biker in this clip wasn't going with 50 mph... not even 50 Km/h. if he was going with 50 mph the car would have sustained a lot more damage, and the biker would have flown alot further. anyway i estimated that the distance from the left edge of the frame to the car is about 10 m, and the biker does the distance in about 1 sec => speed less than 40 Km/h => careless car driver. guess if there was a bigass truck instead of a bike, he(she) would have paid more attention. biker has done nothing wrong.
i bet the car driver said to the police "He came out of nowhere !!!"....nowhere being right in front of him (her).

u can tell because in a gas station, the exit is the way the cars r facing, the driver should have been fined for going the wrong way into a gas station.

We all have had our near misses, just be wary that your safety is YOUR own responsibility, no one elses'. Be wary of the driver's blind spot, both their "natural" and the mirror ones. We all often say that other road users are morons so why put your safety in their hands? Look after yourself

people are idiots out their, they scare me. i stay on my toes on my bike. posted speed 35 they do 50-55 mph, red light running is all time high, they just increased the fine for it. Rigg lights with cams and white light so see who runs them. Picture cams are up at troubled areas. Send you a pix of you and 1 of your plate, and a ticket. 300 people run down walking cross streets in one county alone, over 100 killed. Phones stuck in there ears while they run over toddlers and their mums. Go home and talk on the phone dumbass. I ride a bike everyday, and everyday i see idiots with no moral compass and no respect for others on the road. Trucks and SUV are some of the worst, They are better than you and drive like it. You have to speed to keep from getting run over, and that set you up for the ones that do not know what a stopsign or redlighht means for them to stop. But their in a hurry, the law does not apply to them.

I had some blind spot idiot open his door on me once, managed to swerve it quickly and another old guy cut straight across a roundabout, i nearly cleaned him side on at 35mph. Apart from that, this is the first bike is have had, great experience. Winter is a bit rough sometimes though, roll on the summer nights at the seafront !! Thanks again.

they dun stop right at the road and causing heavy traffic jam... if u are the 20th car behind... i think most properly u will be cursing tat driver who stop the car and help the poor guy... of cuz find some where safe and park his car there... the other reason is tat it wun cuz a second accident

if you know medical aid then come and help. If not, go call pollice and paramedic or better stay away.
If all of them come there they probably just stand there and watch and stop all the traffic or even cause another accident

The timestamp seems to stop at around 20 seconds while the cars are stopping and the people in the gas station react. They did stop, the people at the gas station did go to help. You're just assuming the worst.

about a week ago I was driving down the road on my bike, a car was in the left turn lane at a traffic light. he decided he was going to go straight after all and pulled out from a stop in front of me. I was going 50 in a 45..I swerved narrowly avoiding laying my bike down. cars need to pay more attention period. when making a left turn you ALLWAYS yeild to passers by no matter what speed they're going. You don't like it, walk asshole.

Doesn't matter that the bike was going fast. If the dumb ass in the car had been paying attention, he or she would have seen him coming. I'm a truck driver and I have people cut me off like that all the time. Testing for license should be re-done to get rid of idiot drivers like that.

They probably responded slowly because, although they heard a crash, when they looked up all they saw was one car and other cars moving around it. When the first person to walk toward the cars gets to where she can see the bike, she starts to run toward the injured.
