As long as thousands of nuclear warheads exist, this is always a possibility. Who's getting along with who at the moment (USA/Russia/China) is not relevant. Wait until we start fighting over the last dregs of oil to see some nuclear tension. It'll make the cold war look like nothing!!

The good thing is that all but 200 are owned by the US and Russia, the bad thing is the others are owned by other countries or worse are unaccounted for. The Super Powers like the US, Russia, and other members of the UN know that nuclear war is bad and and do everything they can to prevent it. But, what is to keep other foreign powers from acquiring them and using them to start war? The fact is, someone somewhere will try to start WW3, but it is up to the Greater nations to seek the truth and prevent it

there are way more nuclear missiles than 30,000 in the world that are counted. unfortunately there are approximately 20,000 missiles that are hidden by countries...

at one time, the soviet union had 45 000 weapons on there own!!!

the US and russia are the only contries that have a large amount of nuclear devices, other countries count for about 20 percent of the weapons

politicians r not stupid. they r actually sum of the smartest ppl in the world. they r NOT dumb, and they know that war is BAD, especially nuclear war like this. it is not as ez as it sounds to b a politician, there r so many different ppl in the world with so many different wants and needs, it is impossible 2 satisfy every1. sumtimes politicians can go a lil insane like saddam, but prolly ne politician in the EU or in the US is straight. "why cant we all just get along?" cuz ppl r different. we CANT get along, but we can try r best. 2 sum it up, politicians know nuclear war needs 2 b avoided, random schmoz on metacafe like cn_perroni and Slamdatass r NOT smarter then the leaders of the UN.

..Politicians are smart enough to think about making money by killing and letting people starve. Have noticed some countries in the map (if you ever seen one other than the U.S.) that people are dying by hunger, aids, pollution, radiation etc.... think deeper
