Since English is not my native language I could have miss understood the cost of this operation.
Did you say U$S 250? So you are not helping the dog until you get the money from Metacafe? Having a camera and hardware to capture I would assume you could have paid the operation and then get the money back from this video... but after listening '...it has one month of life left...' and '...you can save her...' They will help you there. There are ways to get help to your suffering friend. I live in Norway and i have seen 1000 f cases like this on animal planet. Where owners get help rescue there dogs when they cant afford the operation. Go talk to them i promisse there is nothing to lose doing that!

Anytime you want some fast cash, use an animal! Pets should be neutered so that things like this wouldn't happen. If you can't afford a vet, you shouldn't have a pet and keep her popping out babies for as long as she lives. Besides, how will the owner take care of all the puppies when he can't even take care of one? I smell the stench of a puppy mill.

I had a dog who had a massive growth like that under her belly when I was a kid, and we had it removed, and then she went on to live to a ripe old age. Hopefully you can have a similar outcome.

A little black puppy one night got hit by a car in front of my house. after much treatement, we managed to cure her injuries. She was a stray dog. We let her stay in our house till she was healed... Then she lived in our building for a year or so.. but one day she was hit by another car and died. Sania looked just like Lady, only smaller. The problem of stray dogs in Bombay, India is getting worse by the day and lotsa dogs n puppies are getting hurt... PLEASE look to places like this and make ppl aware of the overlooked torture to these dogs. I will pray for Lady!!!

I think you should try for another $45.00 and have her spayed! At 8 years old she should not be having puppies! God knows there are enough puppies in the world and so many have to be put down because there arn't enough homes for them, but thank you for taking care of her and I hope she has a happy life.
